Best one of the four I've listened to so far. So many feelings happening! For a first-person, single-perspective, linear plot story this book has so many emotional rollercoaster parts. Great job, Nathan. I started out with book four by accident, so I'll be starting book five now. :)
These books were recently recommended on John Scalzi's website (Whatever), which led me here. Great stuff! I realise I'm late to the party, but you may want to know that there is an unedited fluff in this episode (roughly 3/4 of the way in, the scene where Pip is about ...
Thanks, Mat. :D
As with the others in this series, this was brilliant. You really understand what makes good sci-fi drama.
Don't forget the boat only holds a dozen people or so. And their emergency shipsuits only holds an hour of air. They said it would take 10 hours to get the scrubbers back up to speed.
Excess author head-space. That makes SO much more sense and I didn't think of it until I was halfway thru Double Share. I suspect we'll address that in the print version.

It's not the *where*, it's the *why*. Obviously the CaOH is extremely useful if/when the scrubbers go down, but ... New topic: when Ish and Wendy are ... busy ... he says something like "three *hours* later". Should be "stans". :-) Also, there are a few "sirs" mixed in with ...
